Hey Carpool Crew! Whether you’re heading to school, chilling at home, or running errands with your family, Pastor Justin is here with another big question someone asked Jesus—this time, from someone really important: John the Baptist.
Even though John baptized Jesus and told everyone the Savior was coming, he still had a moment of doubt when things got hard. From prison, he asked Jesus, “Are you really the one?”
And guess what? Jesus didn’t get mad. He gave proof. He reminded John—and all of us—why we can trust Him: the blind see, the dead are raised, and good news is being shared.
This episode reminds kids that even strong believers can have doubts—but Jesus is still the Savior we’ve been waiting for.
💡 Big Idea for Kids:Jesus is the Savior we’ve been waiting for—even when we doubt.
💬 Car Conversation Starter:What helps me remember that Jesus is real and loves me—even when I have doubts?
🎯 Faith in Action:If you’re going through a tough time, talk to someone you trust. And ask Jesus to remind you He’s near—even when life feels hard.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent Note:If today’s episode helped spark a great conversation, share it with a friend or your church’s kids ministry leader. Carpooling with Jesus is here to help families everywhere grow in faith—one car ride at a time.

Hey Carpool Crew! Today we’re diving into a big question a man named Nicodemus asked Jesus: How can someone be born again? Nicodemus was super smart and religious, but Jesus told him that knowing the rules isn’t what saves you. What matters is having a brand new heart that follows Jesus from the inside out.
In this episode, Pastor Justin helps kids understand what it means to live with a new heart—a life filled with God’s love, patience, and peace. Whether you’re at school, in line at lunch, or hanging out at recess, your new heart helps you treat others the way Jesus would.
🚗 Big Idea for Kids:Jesus gives us a brand-new life when we follow Him.
💬 Car Conversation Starter:How can living with a new heart from Jesus help you be different today at school?
🎯 Kid-Friendly Application:The next time someone is mean or things don’t go your way, stop and say: “Jesus, help me live the new life you gave me.”
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent Note:If this podcast helps your family, share it with your parent friends or your kids' ministry leader. You’re helping more kids hear about Jesus every time you share or review the show.

Hey Carpool Crew! Today on Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin explores a tough question someone asked Jesus in Luke 13:23: “Are only a few people going to be saved?” Instead of giving a number, Jesus flips the question and makes it personal—Are YOU following me?
This episode reminds us that Jesus doesn’t just want a few perfect people in heaven. He wants everyone to follow Him! That means trusting Him, including others, and living out what He teaches—not just going through the motions.
We’ll also hear about a kid named Emma who chose kindness at lunch and showed what it means to truly follow Jesus from the heart.
🚗 Big Idea for Kids:Jesus wants everyone to follow Him—not just a few.
📖 Bible Verse of the Day:Luke 13:23 – “Lord,” someone asked him, “are only a few people going to be saved?”
💬 Car Conversation Starter:Do I ever treat faith like it’s only for a few people instead of an invitation for everyone?
🎯 Weekly Challenge:Invite someone new to church, pray for a friend, or include someone who feels left out—just like Jesus would.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent Note:If today’s episode encouraged your family, share it with your kids’ pastor or a friend! We love being a resource to churches and families around the country.

Hey Carpool Crew! Pastor Justin is back with another big question people asked Jesus—this one comes straight from His disciples: “Who then can be saved?” (Matthew 19:25)
The disciples were shocked to hear that it’s hard for rich people to enter heaven. In their world, being rich meant you were already close to God. But Jesus flipped that idea upside down! Today we learn that you don’t have to be perfect, rich, or powerful—you just have to trust Jesus. It’s not about earning God’s love. He already gives it freely.
🚗 Big Idea for Kids:You don’t have to be rich, perfect, or powerful—you just have to trust Jesus.
📖 Bible Verse of the Day:Matthew 19:25–26 – “Who then can be saved?... With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
💬 Car Conversation Starter:Have I ever felt like I’m not good enough for God?
🙏 Short Friday Prayer:God, thank You for this week. Help us finish strong today and bless our weekend with joy and rest. Amen.

Hey Carpool Crew! Pastor Justin is kicking off a new month full of big questions people asked Jesus. Today’s comes from a rich young ruler who asked, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” (Mark 10:17)
This man had everything—money, power, and probably a huge collection of shoes and toys. But deep down, he was missing something. When he asked Jesus how to live forever with God, the answer was a lot harder than expected. Jesus showed him (and us) what it really means to put God first.
🚗 Big Idea for Kids:Loving God means putting Him first—more than anything else.

👋 Welcome to Carpooling with Jesus!
Hey carpool crew! 🚗 Whether you’re headed to school, enjoying breakfast, or in the middle of homeschool, today’s episode is about something super close to Jesus’ heart: caring for people who feel left out or alone.
In Matthew 25:35-40, Jesus teaches something powerful—when we care for the lonely, we're actually loving Him. From offering a seat at lunch to simply saying something kind, every little act of love matters more than you think.
🎯 Takeaways from Today’s Ride:
Jesus notices when we help others
Small acts of kindness = big moments of love
Friendship is one of the best ways to live like Jesus
When we care for someone who feels alone, we’re showing love to Jesus Himself
Pastor Justin shares what it means to be like Jesus in everyday places—like the lunchroom or the playground—and how we can all be that one friend who makes someone feel seen.
💬 Car Question:Who’s someone you can show friendship to today?
🚦 One Thing for the Ride:When you care for someone who feels alone, you’re showing love to Jesus Himself.

👋 Welcome to Carpooling with Jesus!
🚗 Today’s story is all about one of Jesus' favorite ways to show love—kindness. And not just kindness to our friends, but kindness to everyone, even people who seem different from us.
In John 4:9-10, Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well—someone the world said He shouldn’t even talk to. But Jesus breaks those barriers with respect, friendship, and love, reminding us that kindness knows no limits.
🎯 Takeaways from Today’s Ride:
Jesus chose kindness even when others didn’t
God’s love is for everyone, not just those who look or live like us
Real kindness crosses cultures, cliques, and comfort zones
A simple lunch seat or smile can reflect Jesus' love in powerful ways
Pastor Justin also shares a personal story about his friend Raj and how a lunchroom friendship—spicy food and all—taught him to love like Jesus.
💬 Car Question:How can you show kindness today—even to someone who’s different from you?
🚦 One Thing for the Ride:Jesus loves everyone, and kindness is for everyone too.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents: If this episode encouraged your kids, post about it on Facebook or tag a friend who’d love Carpooling with Jesus. We’re all about helping families bring Jesus into the everyday moments.

Pastor Justin shares the story Jesus told in Luke 10:36 about a man who was hurt and ignored by two people you'd think would help… but then, someone surprising stopped and showed love: the Good Samaritan.
🎯 Today’s Big Lesson:A good neighbor is anyone who chooses to stop and show love—no matter what.

What being a neighbor really looks like
How YOU can show love at school, at home, or anywhere you go
A real-life story from Pastor Justin about how one brave lunch moment led to a new friendship

👋 Welcome to Carpooling with Jesus!
Today wraps up our week with Samson, and it’s a powerful reminder of something we all need to hear: Even when we mess up, God can still use us. 🙌
In this episode of Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin walks through the final chapter of Samson’s story in Judges 16:28, where Samson—broken, blind, and alone—prays one more time:“Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more.”
And guess what? God does.
🎯 Big Takeaways:
Samson gave away his secret and lost everything… but God wasn’t done with him.
Grace means God still loves us, forgives us, and gives second chances—even when we’ve blown it.
One honest prayer can change everything.
Jesus doesn’t cancel people—He restores them.
From Peter to Zacchaeus to Samson, the Bible is full of people who made mistakes but still got used by God—and you can be one of those people too.
💬 Car Question:Can you think of a time you made a mistake, but were given another chance?
🙏 One Thing for the Ride:Even when we mess up, God can still use us.
📣 Parents: If this podcast encouraged you and your kids this week, share it with a friend or post about it. We love seeing new families join the Carpooling with Jesus crew!

Hey carpool family 👋Ever been so distracted you totally forgot what you were supposed to be doing? That happened to Samson—and it cost him big time.
🚗 Main Idea for the Ride:When we forget God’s way, we lose our way.
📖 Verse of the Day:Judges 16:17 — “No razor has ever been used on my head… If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me.”
💡 In today’s episode, Pastor Justin helps kids understand:
How Samson let distractions pull him away from God’s plan
Why keeping our focus on Jesus helps us live with purpose
And what to do when the world gets noisy and tempting
🐿️ Bonus story: Ever missed a baseball because you were watching a squirrel? Pastor Justin did—and it’s a perfect picture of what distractions can do in life.
💬 Car Conversation Starter:What kind of distractions do we deal with that might pull us away from what Jesus wants?
🎧 Whether it’s friends, screens, or trying to fit in—this episode gives your kids practical encouragement to stay focused on God’s voice and walk His path with confidence.
